La paz en Parcum se mantiene del mismo modo que el equilibrio en el Universo, es algo frágil y fácilmente corrompible. Tres de sus estados, Alsus, el del norte y también el más frío, Caloris, lleno de campos cultivables y más al sur, y Arboris, una isla de vegetación y clima tropical, viven en constante tensión a la espera de que un mínimo hecho desate la guerra.
